Post by: NativeArcher on March 04, 2007, 09:24:00 AM
Been thumbing around checking out different bowyers, and the Chek-mate Longhorn flatbow keeps catching my eye. was wondering if any Tradgangers have had any experiences with this bow and any pics of wood combonations. thanks all... matt

I shot one a while back at one of the bigger trad 3D events.  I really like it.  If I hadn't dropped a good bit of money on a new bow a few weeks earlier, it would have gone home with me that day.

My son has one. I love to shoot it. It's beautiful. I'd send you photo's but if you've been to recurves.com you've seen it anyway.

They're a good shooting bow. Fairly fast, and point well. A little more handshock than their recurves, but I notice handshock more than most people.  :)  They're also a little more challenging to shoot for a beginner, due the the aggressive handle design. Absolutely silent.
