Last Saturday morning I filled my doe tag with an old warrior buck. Hunting right behind my house I saw this big "doe" coming in right while I was getting ready to lower my bow. When I got my glasses on it I discovered that it had a 1 1/2" antler on the left side that was about the same in diameter and nothing on the right. He began moving away from me at 40 yds. & I tipped my Doe Can over behind my back and he came straight in. I shot him at 15 yds. as he was stepping over my practice arrow I had just shot! The old 70# Mag. Bear T.D. with cedars and 200 gr. ACE headszipped through and he went down 40 yds. out.
Here's the pic of my deer.

Moderators, I'm sorry about the size, I'm rather computer challenged.
Congrats on getting and old battler!

So are there any legal ramifications for killing a male with a female tag?
big bruiser ya got there.Congratulations!
Congrats on a great deer.
All the regulations I've read make no reference to male or female deer. They are referred to as either antlered or antlerless. Same with turkeys, either bearded or beardless.
