Title: St. Judes Semi Custom Duck Call for
Post by: Jack Guard on November 05, 2008, 10:22:00 PM
Just thought I would share a picture with the gang of the duck calls I just finished for backwater aka. Melvin Mole.  I relocated this summer and it has taken me so long to do his call and I felt so bad that I made a second call for Melvin.  His choice call was the one on the right, Its Osage with a Timber Insert by Echo.  The call on the left is Padauk with a Timber Insert by Echo also.  They are finished with Spar Urethane.  I just gotta practice my photography skills.  The pics just don't do the calls justice.

Those are gorgeous.  Waterfowling is a wonderful sport and there's nothing like fooling a flock of mallards with a good call sequence and decoy setup.  Hearing a little whimper of anticipation from the lab is icing on the cake.

Congratulations to the winner and thank you for the donation for the great cause.
