Well yesterday I finally started seeing what we all long for. Bucks moving and chasing! Saw several bucks in the morning and screwed up on a 135" 10 point. As I was trying to identify a buck to my right with my binos, this 10 pointer snuck in to 20 yards to my left. :banghead: Wouldn't have been one of my bigger bucks, but I would have attempted to take him to say the least. He was on a trail to walk 15 yards past me. He spotted me and it was over. Thats hunting. Then the evening hunt brought out multiple bucks chasing around me for about 2-hours. My head was on a swivel. No big ones but fun to say the least. Then on my way home a MONSTER 10 point stopped right in front of my truck and stood there. He was every bit of a Booner with 12-14" tines. And he came off of public land! His neck looked like it was ready to explode. So if you've been waiting for the rut to begin in SE Ohio, get out there cause it has. Good Luck!

Great time of the season. Good luck!
In SE Ohio I passed up a couple small bucks. I had a big 8 pointer at 25 yrds but no shot. He was chasing a doe. On my way home wich is 3 hrs away I saw a couple of road kills minus the head. I will be back this weekend. It should be great hunting weather.
