i was about to post the same...i can't wait to hear (read) the story Leonard!
That is a true monster.. :notworthy:
Dan the one in your avitar is no slouch either. Where's your story as well? :campfire:
That is a dandy for sure
Awesome deer!!!
Incredible mulie! I know a lot of you don't care for scores, but that thing has be to around 200 inches typical!!! Let's hear the story!
Massive Mulie :scared:
That sure is a different looking mule deer than I am used to seeing. Coloring seems quite light for a mulie. Looks to be a great looking buck and a pile of good eating. Congrats to you!!
What an impressive deer! That is just awe inspiring - congratulations Leonard!
Awesome deer Leonard.......I too would love to hear the story behind this one......
David
right on Leonard, it was great to see you @ the Chamberlain shoot in Santa Ynez. :clapper:
WOW!!!
Leonards buck YES_This is a old one,but so am I now.The year was 1971 in Colorado,There were a lot of big bucks, maybe not as perfect as this one.I thought, all you had to do was keep walking and keep shooting. It did work a few times but as times have changed so have I.LORD willing,I would like to get one bigger than this before I am done.I guess thats what keeps the desire alive in us bowhunters.Deer was shot at 40 yards off the top of a rim rock.bow was wing thunderbird, with zewicky broadhead,score-189 with ded.-187 5/8 almost perfect! Typical record then was 189
Thats a brute.
Wow! must have been a beast to haul out!
So that's what you get when an elk and a deer mate?
That's a classic. Thanks for sharing. :clapper:
Wow! Leonard, why didn't you tell me about that buck when I built your Grizzly bow? And furthermore, is the Grizzly in the photo with you?
