Title: Good bye October.
Post by: Bonebuster on November 02, 2008, 08:56:00 AM
For the first time since 1982, October came and went, and I did not tag a deer from public land.

It was not always with traditional equipment, but I was always able to close the deal, and hang at least one deer during October. This year has been
an interesting one to say the least.

Hello November, let`s see how much patience YOU can teach me.

I helped drag a huge 8 pointer out yesterday here in central kentucky. his neck was swelled and his and the smell of his leg glands would run you outta the woods. its already started and its gonna be a good'in. good luck

I hear ya, goodbye...job... er...a... October. I have been seeing nothing but bucks in an EAB unit that I don't have a buck tag for yet! I'm kinda forced to hunt this new area because of the job I'm on for the next week or so hunting after work, trying to make the best of it just enjoying being in the woods....   :banghead:
