Looking to buy a lightweight collared shirt made out of wool. Nothing heavy duty. Something that can be worn indoors as well as out.
Been looking at the Pendleton line sold by Cabela's (10 oz) but would like to hear from the Trad Gang to see what else might be out there.
Thanks
Robert
i have a couple of Pendleton shirts. They are great shirts, and from all reports they should last a lifetime or two. Mine are several years old, but if they still make them the same, you'll like 'em. Mine are dry clean only, but I understand that they make washable ones now, too.
I second Pendelton..........I got some from Cabela's they had them on sale a few weeks ago-maybe still.
Pendleton's washable wool is the ticket in Texas where wool shirts are hard to find. I buy them on line trough Cabela's or other outlets because they will not have them in Texas stores. Just too warm.

I really like the Filson light wool shirts. They only drawback is that they have gotten VERY expensive.
Im wearing mine right now. LL Bean made in Canada, its prolly 10 yrs old...PR
LL Bean wool shirt, a Fred Bear fedora hat, and Black Widow bow is a perfect combination, huh?
I swear, I cannot figure out how you guys wear a fedora hat and still shoot a bow without hitting the brim. But I'm down with you on those good wool shirts.
I wear a woolrich brand all wool and washable they have some great earth tone plaids and are nice fitting you can get them at Sierre Outdoors very reasonable you can see an example in my threads,, Different Strand Same results. I love them I have a good halfd a Dozen.
Got to the auction site they have older pendleton lightweight wool shirts all the time, and you can get a good deal on them, for about $16 you can pick up a nice one shipped.
Go to the big auction site and you can find some really reasonable prices on wool.
