Took me a while to get around to it but here they are. It's a 54" Schafer Silvertip. I traded a kimber 1911 for it. I'd imagine I could have sold the gun for around $750.00 but I think I got a better deal trading for the bow. I added the quiver (a cabelas buy) and some beaver balls to it. I think it looks pretty sharp.

Very nice!
Love those 'tips

Yeah, I think they're elk. He (Dave Windauer) has elk horn limb bolts available as well. They're probably pretty expensive but I bet they look nice.
Nice bow. It blends in well to those leaves.
Specs?
That'sa beauty!
Is that 54" long, or 54 pounds? Just curious. I didn't know Dave offered anything shorter than 58" long....I think you made a good trade, especially if you're happy with it.

Ya i think you got the better end of that deal. Nice looking bow
good trade.
Very nice congrats
yea man :bigsmyl:
I measured it at 54" when strung tip to tip. It's 57# at 28 1/4". My draw is 25" so it is a little lighter than 57# for me.
gun for bow, sweet deal
you have to follow limbs with tape, tip to tip
(unstrung i think, follow curve of limbs) i do believe..correct me if i'm wrong.
Looks like a 58"er. I think you made out on that deal - nice bow! Good luck with her! Regards..Ken
Yeah, you're probably right on the 58" I didn't know to follow the contour of the limbs when measuring.
