Title: K-Mag noise
Post by: brmize on October 29, 2008, 04:35:00 PM
I have a K-Mag that is making a noise like the shaft is rubbing or scraping on the riser. No matter what arrow I try it still makes this noise. what can I do? Or have I just not found the right arrow yet?

Thanks,
Brian

Velcro.

Are you talking about drawing the arrow...or shooting the arrow?  If it's when you shoot, you may, and probably do, have the wrong spine.

Velcro is silent...unless you are using the wrong side.

Spine.  My son's K-Mag (also with a velcro rest) is quiet as the grave.  He's throwing ash shafts and has wooly poof balls on his string.

I have a 62 K-Mag that was noisy when I got it.  Added Bow Hush, Musk Ox string silencers, string groove silencers and trad. limbsavers...quiet as a church mouse now. It also has a feather rest.
