Title: Which quiver for new Black Widow PAX?
Post by: SactoBowman on October 29, 2008, 04:23:00 PM
I just received the demo PA in ironwood and am very impressed by this bow.  I am going to order a new PAX and wondered what people's opinion are on whether I should have inserts installed for a bow quiver or should I go with one that clips on to the bow.  I'm leaning more towards something that will clip on the limbs.

Thanks!

Bill

I like the quiver inserts in the riser. I just think they look nicer that the straps around the limbs. I was suppose to order myself a new Thunderhorn sidewinder today. But did not get it done  :knothead:  I perfer the Thunderhorn quivers just my personal like's. There are other nice ones out there also.

Nice bow!  What wood did you get?

I have a PAX that I got with the inserts installed.  I have a Thunderhorn quiver mounted to the inserts.  Works great.  I have also shot the bow with a slide-on Selway, but I like the looks of the Thunderhorn better.

I could tell no difference in noise using either quiver.  Great Northern, Selway, Thunderhorn, Kanati, Eagles Flight.....take your pick.

I also like the Thunderhorn quivers. I went with the inserts on my PGA as well. However if you want a strap on, Thunderhorn makes a great one as well.
