Yup another Black Swan(could you guess I like them?).
Wood riser 3pc. Haven't decided on which limbs yet. Riser will be Padauk, Black Walnut and carbon. Here's the first riser done(a lefty because Arvid is a lefty). Mine should be done shortly and will post pics when I get it.

Thats a beaut Dave!
Sweet!!! I want to see the limbs when you decide...Good luck with it Dave....Christian
ooooooooooh!
I have never seen anything like it. Will you be able to play checkers on it? :) It looks very nice and will definitely be recognizable if someone tries to walk off with it! Enjoy it.
Allan
Awesome! ;)
Oh yes the reverse mount wood risered rigs. Cannot wait to see the limbs mounted on it. Arvid can't leave well enough alone can he David? Always gotta be tweakin and making beautiful bows. HA HA Flint
47 laminations in the riser. Mine will be more subdued in appearance though. :)
I'm having a seizure! LOL
wow i auctually love it!! i like different looking bows and that one has soul.
play checkers..... :D :D :D :D :D
Man oh man....now i might trade you something for that!
Can't wait to see yours...
wow!!!!dave thats saweeet
While I like the riser shape I can't agree with everyone on the Color or Configuration
!["" "[dntthnk]"]("graemlins/dntthnk.gif")
(Please don't be offended) But I bet it will be a fine shooter. What kind of speed will you get with the arrow wt grain you'll be using?
No offense taken. My colors will be much different than this one. This one was laid up this way to take pictures that would show the multiple laminations that go into it. Mine will be darker and more subdued. Just posted the pic to give folks a first look at the new shape and set-up. At 9gpp my 56" recurve 3pc aluminum riser I have right now is the fastest bow I've ever owned. It is quicker than my 1 pc hybrid, Habu Vyperkahn, and other well known speed bows of which I own/have owned way to many LOL.
ceramic limbs, carbon, or "other", dave?
Carbon back with ceramic belly.
Very original!
Congrats...So the wait is starting....LOL
Good luck
F-Manny
That is a very unusual riser there...can not wait to see yours with the more subdued color scheme.
That makes two of us Chris!
Can't wait to see this one!
That's what I've been waiting for Dave!
Going with Ebony I hear Wally. Nice choice.
May even try the curve. :scared: Patience is a virtue... :goldtooth:
Just mind you don't stare at it too long, admiring its beauty, or you might get hypnotised and fall from your tree!
The curve is what I'm shooting now. It is significantly faster than the hybrid in the new limb set-up.
Going to be hard for a deer to focus on that one Ben. lol
Vermonster, do you know what speed you are getting from the curve? It must be close to 195fps at 9gr/lb, if its quicker than the hybrid??
Also would you have Arvids email address, I looked on the website but it isnt shown. Thanks!
Sorry david but that is ugly bud!! Nice bows but that checkered riser! Shawn
That one was made that way for pictures Shawn. It was done contrasting so all 47 laminations would show up in the photos. It was given the nickname Harlequin because of how it looks.
That one is definitely hard to look at but I'll bet it's going to be one hell of a shooter. I'm anxious to see yours and hear the report. I like the layout of that riser.
Dave
