Ok whats the scoop on this bow. I like the looks of it on his site?
It is about the only bow that i have not seen in the classifieds, and ive been looking. Either no one is buying it or they are not letting go of it if they do, i think its the latter.
Those that have one what do you think of it?
Hey Pops, you missed one last week. It was there for, oh, about 2 minutes! I've shot a few Brackenbury Quests and was very impressed. I believe the riser is about the same on the Non-typical which has the long bow limbs... Good luck in you "quest"!

Went to Oklahoma first of Sept took a nice sow.
Headed out for my first turkey hunt end of next month.
Tejon ranch next March for a fulley guided hunt i won in a raffle.
Will be hitting Fort huntter ligget a couple weekends a month this winter.

It was a little more than a week ago that the Non-Typical came up for sale, but it was the first one I had ever seen that was being sold used. So I bought it immediately!!!! It's a great bow. So are the Quests. The Quests have totally different risers that the Non-Typicals, even having different limb pad angles. If you look at some of the pictures on the Brackenbury Bows website where they are pictured side by side you can see they are not the same at all. I have had a Non-Typical on order for about 8 months and hope in another 8 months to actually take delivery. Bill Howland is way out on completion of his orders, but the bows are worth the wait.
By the way, I had been looking for a used Non-Typical and had even posted a "want to buy" add in the classified section, and the only used Non-Typical I have ever seen for sale ANYWHERE is the one I bought. So good luck trying to find one. I can tell you that almost no one who owns one wants to sell it, and long before one of the bows goes on a public ad there are several people who have offered to buy it from the owner. I just got lucky with mine. The only reason it was for sale was that the owner was well up in age when he ordered the bow and was unable to shoot it when he got it, so he had a friend sell it for him. Like Norbert said, it lasted about 2 minutes. And it is in like-new condition.

A little feedback on the Brackenbury's. I have two:
Quest 60" 57# @ 27" (deflexed riser)
Non-typical 62" 58# @ 28"
Differences:
Weight: Quest is a tad heavier. The riser is slightly larger.
Sound: NT is quieter. Quest is also quiet but has a little more of a "twang" sound. (both bows have hush puppy silencers)
I go back and forth on which I like better. I think my Quest is prettier but like the quiet thump of the NT vs. the twang of the Quest. I shoot one for a while and then switch. They shoot so much alike that one makes a great back up for the other.
You cannot go wrong with either. Great bows!
