Went out late this afternoon behind my house. I took a stool and set up off a trail beside a tree. I really did not think I would see anything, I was just happy to be out. About 6pm a very large doe came in and stated feeding about 15 yards away. Eventually she saw me and she had the normal head bobbing foot stomping display. I was rather composed during all this, I get REAL calm just before the shot. Well, she turned and walked directly away giving me the chance to draw. When I reached full draw and the cock feather touched my nose she turned right, as if on que, and gave me the prettiest quartering away shot. OF COURSE I shot2high. This is amazing I simple forgot to pick a spot.....AGAIN. :mad: I retrieved my arrow and pulled out a blunt tip arrow. I walked back to my backyard and saw one of the empty water bottles (20 oz.) I throw around the backyard as blunt/judo targets. I drew on the bottle and SMACK it went flying. :banghead: I stepped it off, 27 paces. Go figure. :confused:

dont feel bad ,i just done the same dang thing ,4 and a 6 point walked up over shot the 4 bout 2 inches
