Title: Any Tradgangers around Galion or Mt Gilead Ohio??

Hi all. Just looking for someone who likes to shoot and hunt with trad bows. Have lived hear for 10yrs and have only met one other person who shoots trad gear. Haven't seen him in sometime.

 Let me know, maybe we can get togeather and do some shooting and hunting. Also like knife/Hawk throwing, and camping in our 18" Tipi.  :)

Hey Raven I am in Pickerington and you are correc there are not a lot of trad guys around. Try checking out OSTA "Ohio Society of Traditional Archers". They shoots all spring and summer long all over the state.

Thanks ohiobowhunt! I think there are alot of us around, we just tend to stick to ourselfs.  :rolleyes:  When I lived in New Concord Oh. I had several friends that I hunted and shot with year round and still do when I get down that way. Just looking for some people around here to do the same with.

 All of the other hunters I have ran into hunt with the Wheel bows and inline smoke poles. They think I'am crazy for shooting and hunting with recurves and longbows and using campfire smoke for cover scent.  :D  I hang my hunting gear in the Tipi so they smell like wood smoke. I find it works great as a cover scent. I have had deer dead downwind and not spook while hunting on the ground.
 I'am sure I'am not the only crazy one around these parts.  :knothead:    :campfire:

HA HA HA BIG GUY!  :bigsmyl:  Things are going good. Kids are growing like weeds. Luke is now in school, he rides the bus to and from school so I have to be home at 4pm everyday when he gets off. So my hunting has been cut down to the weekends, if even then.  :thumbsup:    :thumbsup:

Hey Raven. How about half way between Galion and Mt.Gilead. I live in Iberia. I'm a truck driver and get home friday mornings around 1030 am don't leave till 530 monday evening.

how are you... I have wondered where and what you have been up to.. I saw a post a couple of years ago in trad gang from you i think about target panic??? maby?? I dont know if you remeber me i grad. a year before you..  
     My name is scott wagner i got into trad stuff about 3 years ago and hoped i would catch up with you at a bow shoot , or somthing.

Oldskool sounds like we are almost next door. I live at Candlewood Lake now, I lived in Galion for alost 10 years before we moved two years ago. We will have to hook up one of these weekends and do some shooting/hunting and hang around the Tipi and cook up some deer meat. Most weekends work for me, let me know when would be a good time for you. I plan on hunting this weekend as I'am sure you are too.

When I'm at work the best time to call is from 2 am to 730 am then I turn my phone off to sleep.I turn it back on about 2 pm till about 930 pm.

Raven, sorry it has taken so long to reply I was out for a day or two.

The hunting is slow right now, My cousin is hunting for the first year and I have been trying to set him up better than myself.
Rob needs something to happen, Shoots two nice deer two years in a row, has a business running well, and bought another 12 acres of quality hunting ground. I think he has more than a horse shoe up there.

The job is the same old thing.

The family is good. Dane just had his 2nd b-day on Tuesday and Maddie is in the 4th grade now.

Cool! I hope to get out this weekend, but they are calling for rain and snow  :eek:    :scared:    :bigsmyl:  by Sunday.
 Rob just needs to find a women and have a few kids, I think that may change some of his luck.   :wavey:

My cousin has missed three so far, but he is having fun and that's the main thing.

We'll have to waite for Rob to have the wife and kid thing. He just kicked one out of the house and is enjoying life right now.
