Don, I didn't realize you were in N.C. - I'll have to stop by there sometime.
Oh yeah - welcome Romans3. Lots of good TradGangers here in NC.
Romans3,
As Dennis Allman said, there's a very active trad group here. Our next shoot is at 2pm Saturday, Nov. 8. A map to our range is on the page 7 of our newsletter, which you can get from this link:

Hey Romans3 I'm in Kannapolis. For a local club the CTA is pretty close and alway a great shoot. I'll be going to the Nov shoot if you want to catch a ride with me. Your first shoot and lunch will cost you exactly $0.00, nada, nothing as in free.
CTA is one of the first clubs that I went to in North Carolina. They are the oldest and the largest traditional club in NC and there are lots of families involved as well as individuals. I've been a near continuous member for about ten years and hope to be for at least another ten years. They have some very good people in the club and a diverse and talented group.
I'll recommend the club, but Dennis and Barry can give you the history and current status. They both have or are serving as officers.
Welcome. I'm in the Taylorsville area, north of Hickory.
Welcome to NC! There is alot of shoots and hunting to be done around here. Maybe we can get everybody together for the next cta shoot so you can put a face with a name.
Great idea Clear! The next shoot is Nov.8 starting at 2:00pm. We are starting at 2 for a regular 3D round and a coon shoot around dark. Lots of fun to be had for all!
Welcome Romans3 I live in Charlotte. Think you'll like it.
Mike
Welcome to Norh Carolina! I'm in Raleigh. Al
Thanks everyone. I've been out of town for work for the last week so I just now got to see all these posts. Sounds like a good group of trad people in the area. I think I'll try and come to the CTA shoot on the 8th. Hope to see some of you there
Romans3,
I am fairly new in NC myself -- and glad to be out of one of the nation's largest cities and in a more friendly place. NC is a great place, as I am sure you will learn in short order. Tradgang is a great site, there is always something to learn. Heck, I just learned that Eagles Flight Archery is here in NC -- about an hour or so from me. Hope to run into you some time.
Have fun here in NC -- it is a great state.
Joe
