Went out scouting this morning. Thought I would bring a camera and show you where I'll be lucky enough to hunt. I see deer every time I come here and today saw my first turkeys on the 80 acres. This land is about 20 miles south of Albany, NY right on the Hudson River. This spot is 10 minutes from house.Don't try to find it! Enjoy!

Very nice Brian!!
Brian,
I've lived along the Hudson all my life, and so has Joe Skipp.
The deer love to run the riverbank!!!!! Do some SERIOUS scouting as close to the river as you can get!!!!! You will find many heavily used trails and runways within a few hundred yards of the river.
We are so on 'em Chuck! We have done our homework on this spot! I was face to face with a buck on that road at about 25 yards.Grunted at him 3 times before he bounded off. I'm having so much fun!Plus I'm getting a lot of excersise. I'm trying to get down to 275#!

Brian came down and picked something up from me tonight. I was right on where the place is, I used to hunt that whole area 25 years ago. Always lots of deer and a very pretty spot indeed. Go get'em! Shawn
