i have an old black widow longbow and the finish is blotchy and bubbly
questions is id like to sand it down and re finish it..can i use Teak Oil? iv finished shotgun stocks with it but wondered if i could finish a laminated bow with it?
thanks Andy

Teak oil is a penetrating finish that builds up in the outer layer of wood to protect it. It won't do a thing for fiberglass though, so you're stuck using a varnish of some sort.

tru-oil, any midwax, poly (any kind), danish oil, spur urethan
