Title: nocks for vaporwoods?
Post by: wingnut on October 14, 2008, 08:43:00 AM
I've spent way to much time filing and sanding the nocks that come with the vaporwood carbons too be happy about it.  Does anyone make a nock for these that does not have the double snapon design.  What were they thinking?

Most any uni-nock style nock sold should fit those shafts.  If you like a loose fit the Easton 3D super nocks might suit you.  My personal preference is the Eaton CB bushings and large groove G nocks.  I then serve the string to match.  Usually around .105" diameter.

I'll second Easton 3D Super nocks, they have the deepest and largest throat of those type of push in nocks.I like to use nock adapters and cut the tip off and use Easton G-nocks large groove for my AD's.But Easton 3D Super nocks are my preferred nock. But using the CB bushings with G-nocks on Vapors,I can't pull the nocks and use add-on weights behind the inserts for tuning. Both these nocks fit on a 12 strand D97 with .024 Halo without doing anything to the nocks, just a light snap.

Mike - Try the Gold Tip nock.  My second choice would be the Bohning Signature.
