I have an old double bull T-5. It sat in the rain for three  days. I hunted each of those days and the inside never got wet. It was set up under five pine trees in a cluster.  Water would run under it . I could of dug a little ditch around the outside ,but it was not that bad.

I've been in one during several long downpours lasting more than an hour and only suffered a wee bit of drips on the inside.  I don't think you'll want to seal it as it will probably take on a distinct odor.  In a moderate rain you won't get wet.

I sealed mine with silicone spray after the season was over one year.  In a few days I couldn't smell it any more and I expect that by the time the next season rolled around, the deer couldn't smell it either.  Even so, I haven't hunted with it in the rain yet.

I've hunted in mine in a really good downpour once and like Dave said, just a few drops here and there.

If you leave it set out and rain is possible, be sure and brace the center up, or on a hub style blind, the roof can revers and become a swimming pool for the birds.. Almost guaranteed to collapse the whole thing.

Blueline,

It may have darkened it a tad initially but I don't think it stayed darker.  As for UV, I can't "see"  it so I don't know.  Haven't ever had a deer spook from it so I don't think it's UV visible.

Had the same experience with mine.  A few drips inside, but otherwise nice and try.
Warning - do not stand up and peek out of one of the windows when the wind is blowing hard.  One of the hubs popped inward about that time.  Made my voice go up about 3 pitches for a while.  :biglaugh:
