Just wondering what your favorite quiver is for your longbow. I have used the Selways but wondered about the other options.
Haven't found one yet :(
SafariTuff ArrowMaster or a Baker Quiver Caddy - neither go on my bow. I have a 2-arrow quiver from ABS that I may try, but I just cant get myself to hang something on the lines of a LB. Plus, with 34" arrows, they really look odd, vibrate like all heck, and get in the way. On my Shrew (56"), they really look (and function) wrong.
Lots of folks like the EFA quivers. Bunch of good others too.
I like the Thunderhorn Boa.I can shoot my Whips much better with the added weight of the quiver and arrows.
I have tried Selway,GN and Thunderhorn and favorite is the Thunderhorn.I feel it gives me the best balance on my longbow and it detaches easily.
I like my Great Northern Strop-on quivers. Have considered a back or GFA but have not tried one.
I was like BobW until cousin ArkyBob got me to try the Skookum Dual Stalker arrow quiver from ABS (that BobW has.) I used it in CO this year and really liked it. I'm a convert.

I use a Shrew Mantis 6 arrow quiver

The only one i like on mine is a Kanati anything else makes it shoot of an inch or so.
I use the EFA 3 and 4 arrow models.
Larry, I second the Kanati. Great quiver and stays put, 7oz. 4 arrows. Don
I've got an EFA on my 58" Kanati longbow it's the four arrow model and You can't even tell it's there!! bretto
What part of the great state are You from Ringneck?

Thunderhorn Linx. It's a bit heavier than the boa, but the bar keeps the hood and arrow holder from slipping apart. It stays put on the bow! The added weight helps me shoot better, I think.

I like a GFA side quver most but for a bow quiver I like the EFA 4 arrow
I never did want anything on my bow but thought I would try this Thunderhorn Lynx. I like it, not too heavy and keeps the arrows angled back out of the way. (http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s226/deetraks/DSC00374.jpg)
Thunderhorn Boa small fry 4 arrow is my favorite. It adds the right amount of weight to balance between shooting well with the extra weight and not being too heavy. I used to use the 6 arrow Boa and I liked it very well but it's just a little heavy. I tried the EFA and just didn't care for it.
I've been using a GN strap on for several years and am very happy with it.
Jack Bowers Side quivers, the only things on my longbow are limbskins...PR
Lots of good options. Thanks guys!
I like the GN Adjustable alot.i just got 2 new quivers and they are both are very nice. The Thunderhorn Lynx is great. Its very solid and tuff and no vibration and wont migrate down the riser, great looking too.The eagles flight with the talon grip is also very nice and ultra lightweight and grips the bow tight.I have not hunted with the 2 newer ones yet.I like all these.Thier is alot of choices and these 3 are real nice.Have not tried the Kanati it looks real nice though.
Arrowmaster.
Eagle's Flight for a bow quiver I will actually hunt with it on. In treestands I like to take the quiver off and hang it-for that I go with German Ridge.

Eagles Flight 4-arrow on all my bows.
:::DEERTRAKS:::
I see on your third arrow at the bottom of the picture is a number inked on the arrow. My Heritage 150's had an inked number like that and I discovered a very light amount of Bohning lacquer thinner will take those numbers right off. Just be sure to wipe any excess thinner off right away.
Thought you might be interested in knowing...
Check out the Zipper Woodie,I can match the woods in your bow for a truly custom look.It is available in a strap on model or bolt on.There are some pic. on our web-site.

We have made two new improvements to the EFA bow quivers in the last few months in addition to adding a couple of jumbo sizes. One of them is the "Talon" grip which is an improved gripping system. The other is the "Totem" where we connect the hood and arrow gripper with a graphite shaft. This really stabilizes the quiver on the bow. An added feature is that it can now be removed from the bow and (with the addition of a thong or strap) hung on a limb or tree trunk at the treestand or hung over the shoulder.
Even with these additions the Eagle's Flight Archery quivers weigh in at less than 6 ounces. That's why we say "Travel light with Eagle's Flight". You will hardly know that it's even on the bow.

Here is a photo of some of the "Totem" quivers made by EFA. We presently can't edit photos so we are limited on what we can show.
I use to use the German Ridge, but changed to the Kanati. Reason: no noise when shooting, better fit, and... it really looks great~!
I use the GN adjustable. The regular quiver is too short for my full length carbons that shoot good out of my longbow. Love the strap on system.
Eagles Flight! For a Longbow you don't even know it's on the bow until you might need another arrow. I own Two ,The Mini and the Jumbo. The Jumbo is the way to go if your carrying more than three arrows with big feathers and big broadheads. That reminds me I have to order a couple more off Deadeye Don!!!!
Try these bow quivers

Eagle's Flight Jumbo. Holds four arrows with broadheads very neatly. Extremely light, and can be removed while on stand. I tried the Selway and GN quivers and there is nothing wrong with them, I just like the Eagle's Flight better as it is lighter and the strap on system holds securely in place on the limbs.
Bob
Thunderhorn is what I've always used. Would post pics of it on my bow but have no luck getting pics on this site.
KYArcher
Tried and true Selway. I seem to return to it over others. Like most TGers, I have a whole herd of quivers; none are perfect, but the Selway keeps getting the call. I do like CatQuivers for elk hunting, so I can carry more stuff and some grouse arrows as well.
My minimalist little strap-on 4-arrow Shrew bowquiver fits on any bow, is functional and lovely. It's the only bowquiver I currently own. For larger bow quivers Thunderhorn are tops in my books.
Great northern
I just don't like quivers on my longbows. So, I use the GFA quiver instead.
Bill
I use the one arrow Skookum on my longbow along with a Catquiver III if ground hunting. If treestand hunting I still have the Skookum on my bow and I have a 3 arrow Kwickee quiver bracket on my climber. Also I have a couple of wireties attached to the Kwickee and I can attach a cloth sling and use it like a side quiver.Works great.
Four arrow shew and the Boa work great..I just can't get use to a quiver on my bows...My personal choice is a Cat Quiver I, carried on my back or side.
I like them shrew quivers too!!!!
When I got my new BW PLV I ordered another Eagle's Flight quiver with the Talon system, black leather with Beavertail Insert. Very nice, lightweight and holds more arrows than I'll probably ever need.
That Shrew Mantis looks like the ticket for me. Can't stand stuff hanging off my bow. I really like that I can attach the arrows individually. Now I know what I am going to get for next season.
Selway and Eagle's Flite.
Don those sure are some beauties. I wish I had seen those before I bought my cherokee. Santa's coming to town so I might have to upgrade.

The one with elk blood all over it.
