After three years I was really doubting that I wouldn't go back to wheels. I have missed a bunch and I wounded one Sat. This evening it finaaly came together.

Congratulations man. Seems to be going around on this site. Guess I need to get it in gear and join the ranks. :bigsmyl:
Nice doe and congrats!
Nice shooting  now there is no going back to wheels :archer: :jumper:
Beautiful! Congratulations on sticking with it and tasting the sweetness of success!
 Congrats!!!!!!!!
Great job! After missing the last two hogs I shot at, I was thinking how easy those shots would have been with my compound. I switched back to my Hatfield recurve and shot a "robin hood" with my third practice shot!
Confidence back, bring on the hogs and deer!
Congratulations on a great kill!
:clapper: way to go! that's persistence.

Congrats on the nice doe, great shot! Looks like she went down in a creek bed? Enjoy the rest of the season. Joe

It took me almost 5 years to get my first traditional kill. I knew I could go back to my compound, but my traditional mentors comment always came back to haunt me. "Jeff, if all you want to do is kill a deer; then by all means go back to your compound". Many Deer and many years later I'm glad I kept at it. Hope you will too. Conrads.... :archer:
Thanks everyone. :archer:

Oh Yeah mah man! Did she die in a river bottom with all the round rocks ya got there? Even your ma couldn't slap that grin off-in your face I bet.
First is the hardest. Congrats on sticking with it.
She didn't die in the river bed, thats where I drug her to so I could load her in my jeep. I killed her about 75 yds off the river in a grove of muscadines and white oaks.
I was using a Bob Lee Hunter Takedown...60", 60#@30in with a Gold Tip Expedition tipped with a 175gr woodsman BH.
Sweeeeeeeet!
Congrats
