I recomend reading Dr. Ashby's arrow penetration tests posted here on the site.  Good info and very interesting.  Best source for what works good and what works great and the info to back it up.

Bruce, I've been using them for a few years now.  Never took notice to how many screws were in them.  I'll have to look.  I get great penetration with them.  Just keep em sharp.

What part of PA are you from?...Mike

I have used them to shoot 3 turkeys and 2 hogs and have gotten excellent results.

The newer ones (within the past year or so) only have one screw since the ferrule has been strengthened.

I've had great luck with these, even on fairly heavy bone.

I have taken two animals with them this year and many in the past. They have great penatration and are strong heads. For a replacment head I think they are hard to beat. I have also seen two moose in the last two years fall to the stinger. Both where rib hits. I shoot the four blades myself.

Two javelinas, one hog and an elk so far...all passthroughs. Best combination of flight and sharpness I've found. I like the 150 4 bladers the best and am thinking of giving the Buzzcuts a try...
