One of my little brothers went up north with my dad and I this weekend. It was his first time up in a treestand. He was hunting with my dad's 40# Bear Black Bear. The first night he didn't see anything but the second evening he had a doe with a fawn, and four other does all around him. He said he was shaking so bad he almost fell out of the tree, and that's what spooked the deer. I was nearby and hear them blow 12 times. I told him to limit his shot to 12 yards cause he needs to practice more, so he didn't get a shot at anything.
But when he talked to me he sounded so excited and wouldn't stop talking about it! I'm really happy for him, I think he's hooked!!!

That's neat! The first time I really had deer around me I remember talking like 90 mph. about it.
Yeah, he needs a little more patience though, the first night he got down about two hours before dark...little early. He's only in eigth grade though, and it was his first time...
Zack
That is great,,,tell him welcome to the club.
