Well this evening i went out hunting. No big deal, saw no deer but when i get back to my car!!!!! Someone broke into it and stole my Grandpa's pocket watch and my only hunting knife. I tell ya, this world is going to the dumps. You can't even go hunting and not worry about your stuff being stolen. Oh, well guess he?she needed them worse then me. :banghead: :banghead:
Sad in PA,
Chad
I hear ya. I had the hitch cover stolen from my truck while in a gamelands parking lot. I try to walk from my house when possible...Mike
Sorry to hear of a low blow like that. Sickening.
Never good to leave valuables in the vehicle, even while hunting, apparently. They may have gotten away with it today, but we both know they'll answer for it eventually ><))">
That sucks, I hate thieves with a passion!!!!!
That sucks, soory to hear it.
I only drive a beater truck to games lands etc and I keep it clean and empty so you can look in and see theres nothing there.
What goes around comes around. I know that's no help and I'm sorry to hear that. Especially the pocket watch. You can't place value on something priceless.
Thats just crappy! I feel for ya.
Those who do these things, will
suffer in the end.
I hope your days in the field are
great ones the rest of the season.
REPORT IT TO THE POLICE!!!!!
Sorry to hear that Chad. Don't let idiots keep you from out of the woods. Also keep the faith that you might somehow get the watch and knife back.
String 'em up, it'll teach 'em a lesson.
Atleast you know it wasn't a trad archer!
i would check with the local pawn shops in the area and also look in the classified sections of the local paper.Chances are they sold it for drug/booz money. If you report it to the police , they will have it on record and then if you do find it you can get it back with no money out of pocket.Make sure you describe it in detail to the police.
We should be able to make theives target holders!
Chad, that sucks! I see you're from Warren...curious what area were you in? (I used to have a camp off 337 in Pleasant twp.)
Chad, Look me up. I can't help you with the watch but I can with the knife.
