Title: Trad shops/clubs / gas shortages in Myrtle Beach?
Post by: koger on October 01, 2008, 11:15:00 PM
Hey guys, my wife and I are going to Myrtle beach on vacation in 2 weeks, anyone know of any good trad shops down that way, clubs where you could shoot. We go down in the off season, prices are dirt cheap, no crowds, and temps are  great. Also anyone who lives there is gas hard to come by? Thanks in advance for all replies.

Not sure of any Trad shops or any archery shops at all. There is a Bass Pro in N.Myrtle and a archery club near but again not sure you will find anything trad or not. If so let me know, I usually go down once a year myself. This is the one somebody told me about.

I go for the months of Jan and Feb and the Sandune is a great NFAA club. They will allow you to shoot as a guest and you have3 to sign a form saying you shoot at your own risk etc for insurance etc..

I have not found any local pro shops and or just trad shops in the area.

There was and or is one INdoor range that is about 35 minutes from the beach listed in the phone book.

I have family in the area and they have not said any issues with gas. will send them a note and ask about gas for you...
