Title: My Eagles Flight Archery experience
Post by: Chris O on October 01, 2008, 02:45:00 PM
Well, I ordered an EFA quiver a few weeks ago and when it arrived it was the wrong color(most likely cuz I wasn't paying attention when I ordered it). So I email Don and he says to send it back and he'll get me the right one. So I get my package the other day(perfect timing for hunting season) and along with the quiver he reimbursed my shipping expenses. Now thats some quality customer service that I wasn't expecting. I just had to share this with the gang.

Plus it fit great on my bow and I honestly think it makes me shoot better.

I've got a second hand one I bought from Bowferd. Last weekend at Snow's was the first time I had shot a lot of arrows with it on My Kanati. Couldn't even tell it was on the bow. Very light and well balanced. Going to order a couple more for My other bows. Great little quiver.

One of the nicest human beans I have been privileged to talk to. He sets very high standards for himself.

Don, is one of the best guys I know. I have been trading/shooting with him for a few years now. He truly pours his heart and soul into traditional archery.

Well, from our (EFA) viewpoint things are great. We like our products but continue to look (and listen) for ways to improve them.

We feel blessed to have some great people to deal with in traditional archery. People like John (Sipsey River) have been excellent to work with as we developed our products. Also, guys like Scott (Slayer1) both provide ideas and get ideas bounced off of them. I feel that this kind of interaction helps us to make better products.

Archery for me started as a kid in Kentucky 50+ years ago and I find it as fascinating as ever. After working for 40 plus years in the textile industry (mostly in product development) it was good to start a traditional archery business. Now, finally, I feel that I'm doing something that was meant to be. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that at some point I would be doing the things that I loved as a kid and making a career of it. Hah

I experienced the same excellent service from EFA.  I custom ordered a quiver and, I swear, it was on my bow in two days.
I ordered the Talon with snakeskin to match the snakeskin on my Raptor archery flatbow and then hunted with it for 3 weeks, holding 4 wood arrows.  It performed flawlessly, I never had to touch it once.  It held the arrows very firm yet they pop out with ease when needed.
The weight of my 62" bow, arrows, and quiver is nothing now, and the setup actually improved an already excellent hunting experience.
It is the only quiver that I would put on a primitive bow because it allows the bow to be what it is.
