These are just awesome!
I ask Ted to make me some special arrows to mount Woody's points on that I won during the St. Judes Auction. Plan on using these arrows out of the Dryad Soothsayer that Mike is making for me that was also bought during the donation period for St. Judes.
The plan is to use pretty much all the great items that I was lucky enough to win during the auction.
The arrows are Sitka Spruce with Texas Ebony self nocks and footing. Fletching turkey feathers and are chopped to Ted's Raptor cut.
Woody is making some 160 grain hunting points to go on them. Not really sure what material he is using as I gave him free reign to use what he thought would work best for hunting.
Also none of this would have been possible without the kindness of some members here by giving me the snake skins for the wraps. Thanks again Larry and Bob.
Well without further hesitation here they are:

These will hopefully get put to good use when I come home in November.
Those are sharp! You coming home this November Chris?
Dave,
18 day for leave, and 4 days TDY. Then back over here for the last 8 months. 20 months is a long time but I am glad I waited the year before heading back. I am more than half way done now.
Beautiful! Ted may well be number one when it comes to primitive arrows!
Awesome looking arrows!
Chris, sometimes those 2-3 weeks home are enough to get you through the last half of your deployment. I know that just seeing my dad for 2 weeks was enough to hold me off until he comes back. Thanks for serving!
Oh and those arrows are really really purty!
Those are great lookin. Ted seems to be a really good guy to deal with.
Well.....I've got four dozen shafts down in the shop....If I start now, I could have a half dozen arrows like that in about twenty years!!!
SALUTE!!!
awesome bro!!!
TED :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:
