Hi all, first thread here, so please bear with me. That being said, I LOVE this place! I am not new to online forums, and I know a good one when I see one :)
I have a 1966 Ben Pearson Javelina, 66" #40@28. I am unsure if the bow has twisted or bent limbs, but I think it might. The string is not perfectly behind the center of the riser, where the shelf meets the riser. instead, it is shifted to the left maybe 1/2 inches.
I am not overly concerned, as I am learning to shoot the bow and love it. It has no cracks in the glass or anything of the like. Thanks for the advice guys
A slightly bent limb may not affect the bow but I prefer to straighten them. A lot of the old bow are like that from being stressed by improper stringing or being propped in a corner for years.
How would I go about that 2fletch? i am certainly willing to try
edit: think I will search this instead. i can't be the first to have asked this
