Thanks to Mike at Maddog Archery I now have a Beautiful bamboo backed osage longbow!!!

I was excited when I received this in the mail on Wed., but life intervened and I couldn't do anything but look at it the few brief times I was home until Friday evening. Then I finally got to shoot it!!!!

It is a beautiful bow, and the workmanship is most excellent!!

This bow definitely shoots better than I do!

Most of the arrows I was shooting weren't spined for this bow, but were doing just fine. The broken one was sent with by Mike with the bow. Sorry Mike, you bow is just too good!! :bigsmyl:

Good shooting Dano, Since you robin hooded that arrow, you need to order more now! (Anyhow that's just me trying to be a salesman; which I ain't, not a good one anyway)

What he failed to mention everyone, is he shoots that good without a self or rest just off his hand, I think his skill has more to do with it.

Mike is one of the best kept secrets in traditional archery. I'm also a very happy customer. If you want honesty and integrity from your bowyer, you really ought to take a look Mike's way. :thumbsup:

I didn't list the bows stats... Just too excited at getting it.

It is a 66" NTN BBO English Longbow, no shelf as Mike said above, 55#@27. There isn't any stacking, just smooth draw.

Mike is great! I look forward to ordering more bows from him in the future.

I would definitely love to see mike build a bbo flatbow! I would start saving up this second if he decided to start making one!!!
