Well, I am computer challenged, so I can not put my bows on the web. I was wondering if anyone else had a passion for longbows like me. If so, lets see them shooters. Anyone want to post your pictures of your long bows?

I know I need better pic's of this bow, but I'll have to take some. The Bow is a self made bow from a Red Oak Board from home depot. It is 70" N2N 51#@24" ( Belly side of handle to nock grove ) It has wenge wedge nocks wrapped w/sinew Osage & Ipe in the handle/ arrow pass. It is backed with Air and likes a 55-60 birch arrow topped w/ 160 grn Snuffer & self nocks.

I am surprised to see the majority by a big margin are not actually longbows but hybrids or hybrid type longbows.
Not a slight on the design as I have shot them too. But just an observation.

I'm gonna have to get myself an actual LB one of these days. I've only shot Recurves and Hybrid LB's. That Bama is quite a looker, I like the lines of her and the woods are sharp. Maybe I'll get to try one at the Whittingham next month.

Longbow I got just 2 weeks ago. Blooded it up the third day out with her. My first hog taken with a longbow. "Patches" My brother who is on the right in photo made it. He also made the recurve in the photo
