After shooting some GT 35/55 full length carbons the other night, I have some on their way to me. The arrows that I was shooting had brass weights added to the tip of the arrows.
I don't know what they are called, but I need some. Can anyone tell me what they are called, and where I can get some?
Also, I assume that they can have screw-in broadheads added to the arrows after installing the brass weights.
I'm looking for both 50 grain.....and 100 grain weights.

I'm pretty sure they use the PDP system.

Gold Tip offers the weight systems themselves - they're a standard 8/32" thread and will screw into the back of the inserts.
The PDP weights work also - but they are 6/32" thread, and won't screw directly into the back of the insert, you need an adapter from PDP to go from the 8/32 to 6/32, it weighs 10gr.
Both sets can be found in 5,10, 20, and 50gr increments, the GT set uses a long allen wrench from the nock end of the arrow to screw the weights in and out, PDP uses a similar system.
The GT weights will work on the GT, Vapor, CX, and most .246ID carbons.
Thanks....guys.
wihill, WHERE can I purchase the Gold Tip weight systems, and the long allen wrench?

Winterhawk, do not go to all that trouble. Just go to Kustom king or 3 Rivers and buy 5/16th 50 and 100 grain brass inserts. I have used both and the PDP are a pain in the ass. Shawn
