hey just got a morrison recurve.Does anyone know what type of string bob recomends?

If you call Bob Morrison, you can order a string for I think about $17 plus shipping. You will have it in a few days and it will be right.

What everyone else said, but to me those strings are like a rope. Go to 12 or 14 tops and ya have a nice string. Steve makes a nice string but for me they need to be smaller in diameter. Shawn
