....do you get out to hunt?
I am doing real good if I get to get out a dozen times a year.....
What about yourself?
I am retired so I can hunt anytime, I try and get out 4 or 5 times a week.
Usually 2 -3 times per week. Unless I take vacation then its more.
It depends on my mood and work and family and other obligations. It's hot here now so I'm not in the mood :) . Of course season doesn't start where I hunt until October anyhow so maybe we'll get some cooler weather. If I'm on to a good spot or a nice buck I may try to get in a couple of afternoons a week. It is also nice to take off a couple of long weekends and get away each season.
I have acquaintances that save all their vacation for deer season and others that have their own business that virtually close down for fall. Both sound nice in a way but their families are often dissapointed. Sometimes wish life was like it was as a kid - school and hunting - in no particular order. :D
Usually 2-4 times a week.
Every chance I get.
Usually 5-6 times a week if only for an hour or so.
6 DAYS A WEEK (CAN'T HUNT ON SUN)
I usually get 3-4 weekends a year for deer. Maybe an extended weekend or a week thrown in depending on the year and my available vacation time.
I don't have a close local place to hunt so its hard for me to get out any more then that.
A Colorado Elk, hunt Plus once a week for local deer hunting.I`m retired but don`t like to hunt alone.
Not enough....I have to work. :(
Every night after work and all weekend, I usually take a week off work the first of Nov. I let everyone fend for themselves during hunting season.

Well, I'll spend four vacation weeks this year hunting almost every day including in Texas and Quebec, then at least 1-2X/week from opening day for deer on October 13 to almost Thanksgiving. I'll even try leaving work early until daylight savings time ends. Oh! At least one day a wk during spring turkey season this year! I'll spend at least a few of those days hunting pre-dawn until after sunset.
7-8 times if I'm lucky...but for now with work and the family it's enough. Before I was married it was every weekend from mid October thru the end of the season and a full week in early November.
I usually fill out 40 permit cards each year for the WMA that I hunt and usually use all of them and a few more. I also hunt 40 acres behind my house. It's about 60 yards(from my house) to where I start hunting. I don't really keep up with those hunts.
Depends on the OT worked. Usually around 30-60 days. Hap
Usually two to three weeks on out of state/country trips a year. At home for deer not nearly enough. I will hunt more this year for deer. Evenings and weekends for sure.

i get over 100 days a year.
at least once almost every weekend during deer season, turkey hunt a couple times over spring break and small game hunt every weekend the month after deer season closes and crow\\predator hunt during the summer when I have time, gonna add dove hunting to the list this year and am going this weekend
56 days a yeaar for big game, every time I'm in the woods for small game, except june and July......then I'm fishing.
In the past I have hunted about 4-5 times a week. I just had my second kid this summer so I think that I might be lucky to get out 2 times a week this year...
about 15-20 days for elk and muledeer, 4 or 5 for hogs,10-20 for coyotes,a week or so for turkeys,a week for my whitetails, and a few days to chase Prairie dogs. Simple answer NOT ENOUGH!
Many of you guys are very lucky to have the opportunity to hunt so much. I'm lucky if I get 15 days a year for deer. I can't even imagine how cool it would be to be able to go deer hunting after work a couple times a week.
I do get to go rabbit hunting quite often in the winter, though, so I'm thankful for that. Otherwise there wouldn't be enough hunting to even keep me interested in archery.
Every chance I get and I have been Know to dragup a job Because it interfered with my hunting. I'm also divorced because of my hunting, man I love to hunt. Eat Sleep Think hunting
Man Tamure, you need to make a move!
C'mon down south and share the wealth :-)
Between hogs, deer and turkeys I bowhunt over 100 days a year easy.....ask my wife!
What was her name again???????
Not nearly enough.
