Goin to Co for elk,
3 more days,I've packed, repacked, rerepacked, you get the idea. I'm gonna go tape my packs shut and just take em!! Think I've got everything I could need, except an elk in front of me. Hopefully that'll change in about 5 days!!
Weather looks good,34 to 68 degrees, I'm wound up!!!! :bigsmyl:
Kenny, I think half the fun of going elk hunting is getting everthing ready, looking at maps, bying new stuff and everything else that goes with it. I never sleep well the week leading up to the trip but boy do I sleep good once I'm there.
I wish you guys good luck and will be looking forward to the story's and picks when you get back. Drive safe and shoot strait :archer:
Tracy
Good luck out there Kenny.
How many tags do you have? Did you have to draw them? If so, how many years did it take to draw? What does an CO bull tag cost?
JDS III
Thanks Tracy!!
JD, I am going to buy 1 eithersex tag, that tag is $531 all total I believe, cow only would be $256 I think..
There are draw units, probably with bigger bulls, but this was an invite deal, the man with mules has been goin for near 30 years,so must be an alright place!
Good luck, Kenny! :wavey:
Thanks Kevin, hope to have good pics and better stories!!
