Title: Harvest Moon coming!!

Hi All,

I took my dogs out for a sunrise run this morning, and found five deer browsing on the acreage.  I noticed today that four of these deer had begun to change color toward the dark winter coat.  Sure sign..........

Yep, Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the first day of fall, I believe. 'Bout the time the sun is going down the Harvest Moon comes up...Sept. 14-15.

My season opens, Sept. 13th.

I will be in the mountains of my home state on the 13th sitting at 6,000ft. This moon should look great up there. Last year I watched a herd of elk walk through camp with the bulls bugling all by moon light!!!

Gotta wait til Oct 1 here. Built the new ground blind last Sunday. BIG tracks all over the place!
