Title: An arrow saw would have been cleaner...
Post by: vermonster13 on September 09, 2008, 02:32:00 PM
I got a new to me Brack Drifter today. Got a break in the rain so went outside to fling a few arrows. Was shooting 1918s with a few different tip weights and had my first arrow in the second round hit about 6" high and fell down across the penny size spot I'd put on my feedbag target. Had a thought, hmmm wonder if I can still hit a bull(stupid, stupid, stupid). Let one fly and this was the result.

Not one of my brighter ideas. I own you target and I now also a 5" too short 1918 (I was an inch high still).     :banghead:

I'll get some pics of some bows up tomorrow when it's supposed to be nice out.

I did that with 4 cedars in a row one afternoon.....

The arrows would hit the bag target then(with the point still in the target)the nock end would sag downin front of the bag.....The next arrow would come along and bust the first one.....

Stupid me just kept shootin'   :banghead:

Dave, breaking an Autumn Orange on purpose will NOT get you into heaven. They must be cherished!   :p

I have made myself a rule: Retrieve arrows if one hangs vertically!

I had a deer target leaning on a tree FULL of my NEW cedar arrows It become top heavy. BAD IDEA! lets just say it was an expensive lesson on why the targets come with  steaks! MIKE
