Title: Alum. footing on wood shafts...
Post by: OkKeith on September 09, 2008, 10:22:00 AM
I am interested in putting an alum. footing on some of my 11/32 POC shafts. Can someone help me out with what size Easton shafting will fit right?

I would also be interested in hearing from those who have tried this re: how well it worked. How about some pictures?

Thanks!

A 2413 is a perfect fit. I use about a 2" section, and it works great.

Thanks Eugene!

Does the 2 inch section include space for the insert?

I appreciate the info.

It probably would, but I just foot to the back of the taper and use a regular glue on field point. If you want to use the insert for screw in points, that would still leave you 1 1/4", which should work fine.
