Title: Elk Hunter Success?
Post by: bentpole on September 08, 2008, 05:47:00 PM
You good Trad Ganger Folks out there Elk Hunting. I hope you have had some success. I know my Bud Vince from Mohawk Bows is still out there in Collyrado, waiting to hear from him. Did anyone else score so far? Tell us your set ups are  for us uneducated. Gettin' close to retirement and the kids are close to gettin' out of college, so I need the "schooling". Pictures would be appreciated.

Great!

I have had a good week of it.  With one friend missing and one tagging out last week.  The Bull he shot is a toad, at 14 steps.  But, alas, all wheelie guys.  When I get mine you'll get a picture.

Been impressed, they're really comin to the calls, and screamin to boot.  this week oughtta be good.

I heard bulls squealing from opening day forward. I believe we have seen more elk this year than the last few.

Yes John, Larry Jones killed a very large cow late Saturday afternoon. It was his last hunt as he had to go back to Illinois Sunday morning.
