"Aim, shoot then yell target you're not the boss of me! I'm the boss of you!" My boy Jake's advice to me this morning on how to be better with a bow. He said he's going to teach me how to be an even better bow hunter, after I teach him. lol
Made my day.
Wisdom beyond his years.
Maybe he's on to something?
Now that is some classic advice...be sure to heed it Dave  :archer:
Chris
Never tried that one Dave....Thats great :bigsmyl:
Dave, that is too cute!
Sounds like he's got it figured out, Dave :D ...Its amazing what kids come up with...My boys give me lessons every day
David
That sounds like a fair translation of something out of Zen in the Art of Archery. Perhaps he knows something that we all should pay attention to.
:biglaugh:
Lol - that's the same tactic I use in business meetings when they start going badly.
Jake rocks!
:bigsmyl:
How true! Next time TP starts wrapping its tentacles around me, I'm going to invoke that mantra.
:biglaugh:
That's good stuff.
Mine says something similar (he is 8 now) when he misses and then retrieves his arrow and stabs the back of the target! I said, "Son, what are you doing?" "Oh Dad, I'm just cleaning the mud off the tip of my arrow."
Kids can crack you up and the most odd times.

Your Son is right, 90% of archery is in your head....It's a mental game.
Your son is a wise man :)
So cute

He's pretty inspirational for me. ;)
That's breaking it down to the basic. We've just forgotten the KISS method. Your boy's just puting it in verbage we adults can understand. :banghead:
that sounds like a good way to cure target panic too!
Thanks, that made my day.
Kids say the darnedest things!
"He's pretty inspirational for me."
That's what they are here for, friend. And I think it runs both ways.
Killdeer :campfire:
You should have that printed on the upper limb of your bow. Classic!
I actually used his mantra when practicing at 30 yards today. ;)
