Tess my old bird dog happened to hit her tail aginst a electric 3 stran cow fence one season, she never forgot were that fence was even after it was down. She'ed go right to were it was but not past. That went on for years!
If you ever saw her in that stand how did she get up there?

lots of yote sign this year. rabbit population just exploded in the last 2 years and the yotes are feeding well on both rabbits, deer and a LATE turkey hatch. the yotes are THRIVING!
Last year I was hunting in a ground blind in sight of a tree stand. Watched a doe walk under it and as she approached it she looked up at it as if to check to see if anyone was in it!!
I think they do. Either that or they just look up in trees alot anymore. I think the does teach by example to look up in trees also.
