Same problem here, ben thinking about adding a home made leather skirt to my quiver. By the way. After I got mine sharp, they didn't weigh the same. So, since I had to put screw-in inserts in them, I just added some 7&1/2 shot inside them until they were exactly the 200 grs I needed. If your interested just tx me for the details............rog

There was another thread on this subject last week, I brought it to the top. Check "Great Northern bow quiver question".

Not everyone is mechanically inclined, but it sure is rewarding to hunt with something you built from scratch. Build it yourself and it can be custom fit for the broadheads you shoot. I'm what ya might call limited in the area of funding (aka, a broke student), so i build a lot of my stuff and ALL of my quivers. I've been meaning to post some pics of a couple i have made recently, so keep your eyes open for em.....

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated. I'm sure I'm capable of building a new hood but I'm a little short of time,[leaving tomorrow to chase our Manitoba Elk].Will just have to play safe till I get back.  Hopefully the grizzlys will get a work-out!   Thanks again and good hunting.  Mo.

I brought this issue to Ed Schlief's attention at ABS.  I need to remnd him to make a prototype!

I tried the GN and they don't work for me without sacrificing the near-inside arrow.
