After putting all the blow away stuff up this afternoon(we might get a storm soom), I proceeded to get my deer gear togather. 59lb dakota, by Rick Welch, cx 350's, full length with simmons tree sharks around 200gns. Got them hunting sharp and put em in my quiver from Rod Jenkins. Finally found the termacell and game ear. Shot from a 12foot stand in my yard, from 0 to 25 yards. Dead on at all ranges, with broadheads. I can't wait till next saturday. Hope the storm don't mess up my spots. Don
Batman,
Alright man, I did the same things 2 weeks ago (over excited no doubt :D ) Cant wait to get out there myself.
By the way, thanks for the info...Good stuff amigo.
P.
Don, with the way you shoot there shouldn't be any problems sticking a few! Good luck.
Allen
Dang.....that dakota gained 10 pounds since the last time I saw it. What are you feeding it?
Sounds like a deadly setup, Don...I'm gettin pumped up here myself...I think my neck's startin to swell up...I hope Hanna takes it easy on ya'll down there...
Be Safe
David
Where ya gonna stick it, Batman?
Sorry...couldn't resist!
Good luck, Don!
Killdeer :goldtooth:
Stick one? That's a compounder term....:-(
Yes, I believe the correct term would be to "thump" one. LOL!!
I know how you feel.I've got till the 15th.My arms are bald from sharpening bheads tonight.
I've got it baaaaaad!!!
Good luck man,
Ethan
sorry John, hit the wrong button.
Paul, did the file work for you?
I guess stick one is a little vague. What I ment was send a 650 gn arrow with a razor sharp broadhead, sliceing effortlessly through both lungs and deep into the ground on the far side. DB
Ohhhhhhhh....you mean kill one!
I'm with ya now :-)
Don,
Dont let it happen again!(LOL) Miss representing Racquels heavier sister may get you in trouble with the ladies. Hope you slay, thump, stick or bling a nice one this year!!! :D
No No No ...cant say "kill" we have to say "Harvest" that is the politically correct way right?
Don, i'm with everyone else, i hope we all "Kill" one :D ...or five..
Yes the file did open, thats what i was referring to, definitly some good stuff there. Thanks again.
Harvesting is for Farmers....Killing is for Bowhunters...... :readit: :saywhat:
Amen
:biglaugh: :biglaugh: I knew i could count on you Joe...
Well I have to say, I hope I kill one or five as well. I love the thrill, but what I really love is fresh venison and mine from last year is all long gone. My fav though is black bear steaks with onion gravy, mashed potatoes, baby green limas cooked with diced country ham and homemade biscuts, made with real hog lard. YUM YUM. DB
Let me know when you start cooking....save a seat at the table for me! :D
Good luck to ya
