First post here, great site. I am trying to get into traditional archery and have been bow shopping for a while. In my search I have stumbled onto a longbow made by lonetree archery. I have searched all over the internet for info on this bow, but have came up with next to nothing. I did shoot the bow, one of several, and liked it the most by a large margin. Asking price was $350, I was hoping someone on here may have owned or shot one in the past. Any info would be greatly appreciated
Marcus, If I am correct the bows were made out of Oklahoma by R.L.Castoe. He is deceased now, but the bows had a following and I heard nothing but good about them. Hope this helps and maybe some others will chime in. Thanks Flint
Flint is correct. They are sweet bows and I have one that is not for sale. I heard that one of his sons is going to start making them again, but don't know for sure.
quadzilla i own one.it is my favorite bow. they are fast quiet and very deadly.
Just wanted to say thankyou to all that replied.
It gave me the nudge I needed. I shot several bows in my search and for some reason this one kept sticking in my mind. Prob did not hurt that it was so smooth and hit were I looked. To bad R.Castoe has passed, it seems he built some very nice bows. Look foward to spending way to much time on this site!
Thanks Again
