Man, what a blast we had!!! 6 of us all tagged our bucks, plus 5 does....brought back plenty of meat and memories!!! Tony started out our week, with the first and biggest buck, then we all were tagged out with a day to spare. I'll let the guys add thier pics here if they want as well!!!
Beautiful county, as harsh as it can be....Can't wait to git back!!!

Stand #7 had action most of the week, with several different critters!!!

Muleys git thirsty too....
And badgers!!!
And ugly 'yote pups!!!
And even a Prairie Rattler....I am now the proud owner of a bowkilled Rattler!!!

A few decent goats around Stand #7

I got a good, late morning chance at a fat doe, either tue or wed....didn't keep much track of time out there, wasn't much need, as I was on vacation!!!! Made a decent 9 yard shot...hit a couple inches low of where I was lookin', but nicked the bottom of her heart, she ran 50yds, walked 50 more, and was done. Good meat for the grill, eh!!!
The whole gang....Good guys, and a great camp!!!!!! I'm the tall fat one...

Chasin Speedgoats with a bow....Only in AMERICA!!!!

I had a bit of frustration all week, not getting the bigger bucks within my effective range....But that's a choice I don't really mind living with....Had that Tall Boy at 50 on the 1st morning, another huge buck middle of the week, I was in my ghillie suit, setting at a water hole, and had to turn down both sides of him at 35yds, then he was at 20 or less but had a big thistle in the way....the one that got away!!! Plus numerous goats that just wouldn't give me the right shot....then when one finally did, I muffed it....But, on the next to the last evenin', I got another chance, at stand #8...Not the biggest buck, but bigger'n last year!!! Made a good double lung shot, and he piled up 50 yds from the stand.

Gotta love a good pile of goat carcasses!!!! The ranch has a really nice, large, walkin cooler.
You'll see a muley or 3 out that way!!!
my favorite!!!

We had the pleasure of a major country road cruise, with the Ranchers Son, to his elk lease....And yes, they were bugling....TO MY RINGTONE ON MY CELL PHONE....(if I'm lyin', I'm dyin')....Yes, 3 different bulls, right at nightfall!!!!!! Here's a few pics from the ride, the last day we were there.
Warren Buffet owns a ranch next door, and he's ruinin' the skyline.....Over 300 windmills will soon be standing tall.
Had to hit 4 low in a few places....pics don't do it justice!!!

Congratulations!!! One of these days... always wanted to do a self-guided hunt for antelope! Thank you for sharing! And Congrats Again!!!
Congratulations Brad. Beautiful photography. Makes wish I could go back to the days of the Smith Sheep Ranch when Steve Gorr ran the hunts there.
Thank you so much for sharing your hunt with us!
Brad, good hunting! Great photos. You should offer the sunset photo to the boys from Nixa for their catalog cover - maybe trade rights for a new bow? Looks like a great hunt and good tune up for deer season. I'm gettin' to the head of the line Saturday night at the next MOJam for a piece of the antelope.

Gotta love a busy man huntin' man - good thing you got Brenda on your side.
Heading out next Tuesday, plan to meet up with Jesse on Friday. First elk hunt and I am pumped. I figured that Jesse needs to get reacquainted with Evan so I am bringing him along as well.
