I put this picture on the trail cam post, but wanted to make sure people had a chance to see this... Any guesses on the score? He's got 15 scorable points, and another picture we have shows what may be 3 more stickers coming off the bases. My guess is mid 170's, but a buddy of mine guesses higher yet. Not real wide, but tall and junk!
Anyone else care to take a guess? I'll let you know what he grosses out when he's in the back of my pickup. (in other words, we'll probably never know!)

dandy buck
i will say 160 but its hard to tell and i am no expert
good luck hope to see the photos of him in your truck
The only score I know is a "GOOD ONE"!
145 P@Y, Hard to say. Need better pics polished antlers. Hope to see you with a pic of him and the true score!!
shoot him then score it. Its a beautiful animal, good luck going after him
Big enough to shoot!
ohhhh....I would say 15, maybe 20 bushels per acre.
Score?? I would say 1.
1 helluva buck!!
I dont do a lot of score keeping but that is some nice horn porn there.
i would agree - 170's
Nice mature deer. I'd say six years old with a big ol' pot belly and loose skin look. A true trophy.
Looks like 145-155 depending on his mass. He's a good 'un. Gotta love them "junk" bucks.
With the junk I would say right arond 170 gross typical his frame is a solid 155 gross. Nice buck and fully mature probaly a 5 yr old.
I mean 170 non-typical
If you get him then..... Yes You Scored!!!!
I agree he grosses around 170 but who cares, what a buck. If ya need help putting him on the ground, give me a call! :bigsmyl: Shawn
He's a scrub...let him walk... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
David
Mid 160's.
I thinking 140-145 non-typ. Yet it is just a crap shoot to guess on these pictures.
The challenges are IMO
* Cannot judge mass or tine length very well due to velvet
* Tine length doesn't appear that long
* There are lots of points, but many short ones don't add up fast
* Cannot see the length of the main beam very well
Yet all-and-all nice buck. Go get him and tell us all.
Hard to tell from pictures in velvet but he isn't anywhere near 170.
*Not enough spread
*tines too short
*mainbeam looks short
I would say 140-155. Great buck.
Good luck!
I would have to agree with Bob 140-155. Velvet makes em look bigger and there will be deductions from non symetrical tines. Very nice buck though.
He's a he** of a lot bigger than 140... his right side alone will go 75!
Go get him and then we'll know for sure. Best of luck.
Sorry Guys, I Just Can't See 170's.
do you score them just gutted or cut and wrapped?
i'm no judge of whitetails but i would bet #60-70 of nice white packages in the freezer :D :D
I agree with Ron. From the pics, he just doesn't have the width or tine length to approach 170. He's a beaut though and hopefully you'll get an opportunity at him.
