Title: From France
Post by: Frenchy on August 29, 2008, 09:17:00 AM
Hi everybody

I'm new to this website.
My name is Max and I'm 37, I living in France at three o'clock of Paris.
I'm a beginner in English but I can get by (I'll make some quick progress)
I was married for 10 years but I divorced 5 years ago.
I'm the proud father of two kids : Loup and Andréanne
I've been hunting with a bow for 8 years.
I have a "Grand Gallois" longbow 55# 28 inch and some recurves (Martin Hunter, Damon Howatt)
I took a few games with a PSE Mohave too.
During these years I killed a bunch of animals with a bow : roedeer, foxes, european badgers, muskrats, mallards, pheasants, nutrias ect...
I'm glad to chew the fat with you.         ;)

it works ! In fact it's not exactly a " Grand Gallois" it's a hybrid between two other bows

Max, great looking longbow and wonderful drawing. Trad guys needs good drawings! My best friend of over 50 years, and we have been shooting recurves and longbows all this time, his name is Huey and his ancestors came from France. Good work, Ken

I crossed the pond too (several times)
I visited NY when I was a kid and I've been three times to Montreal (vacation and taxidermy course :I've been taxidermist for a few years too)
