I just bought a dozen Legacy 2020s from Cabela's to shoot out of my 63# longbow but would like to increase the tip weight up from my current 125grains. What's the best way to increase my tip weight on my 2020s? I've seen the brass inserts for carbon arrows on 3Rivers but can't find anything similar for aluminums.
Thanks,
MikeP
I used the steel screw in adapters and glued on points/broadheads. They come in different weights.
3Rivers and Kustom King sell PDP adjustable inserts for 2020 that accept screw weights. You can use PDP weights or I use Gold Tip weights.
Points and Heads come in all sorts of wts. What wt. are you looking for?
I think the 2020 is one of the few shafts that won't fit the pdp weights
The steel broadhead/field point adapters come in weights as high as 100 grains, what are you looking to get out of it? You could also epoxy .22 bullets inside the shaft. At 40 grains each, the weight would mount up quickly.
