Anyone out there who can give me the spine of
1918 and 2018 shafts ?

2018 = .464
1916 = .623
They do not make a 1918..

1918 ARE NOT MADE ANYMORE BUT ARE STILL AVAILABLE THRU PRIVATE PARTYS THAT STILL HAVE , I OWN 3 DOZEN .

2018 is 68lbs.
1916 is 51lbs.

As I remember the 1918 spines out the same as a 2016, about 55 lbs. Someone out there knows.

Well I never thought of that angle. Here's a chart I use sometimes, I thnk it's the Kellly's one and it does list the old 1918@60lbs

I still have and shoot some old AO 1918's and some green Gamegetter 1918's.Great shaft.

The new black 500's are just a fancy name for the 2016.

Bowmarks - I get 0.441" deflection (26" centres, 2# weight) on my old Gamegetter 1918's.
That equals a hair under 59 pounds. YMMV

The new black 500's should work with a 55-58#@27 longbow??? Shouldn't it???. Need the arrow to be 28-29 inches... Is the length I would like??? This should work out if I play around with the tip weight ??? I hope??
