Title: Crown Red Stain
Post by: flint kemper on August 21, 2008, 12:27:00 PM
Guys, I do not like the look of the red rit dye. What have you used for the red color? Also lets see some pictures of red crowned arrows. Thanks Flint

I've used the alcohol based-cordovan leather dye from Tandy - gives a nice deep red.  I'll get a pic up tonight.

I own a furniture finishing/refinishing business and we work with a lot of stains. If you will post a pic. of the red you are wanting I will help you find the stain your looking for.

FWIW - Red NGR stain will give you a deeper red than any stain out there and it can be tinted with other colors.
