Dates are set: Feb 16th to 20th are hunt dates. Arrive in camp afternoon of 15th and depart camp am of 21st. This is the last full week of javie season, so hogs and javies will be the flavour of the week.
Ranch is the Odessa/Crane ranch that the 2008 Sweat was held on. Curtis has secured 100% rights to the ranch year round. Everyone will be camping with water and hydro available at camp area. We will arrange meals as last year, everyone pitches in and each meal is planned so several of us cook each day.
Costs: $650.00 for five day hunt. Corn and shirts will be extra.
Sweat Hunt Vets have first option to return then available spots will be posted on open forum for all interested. We can start a waiting list now for those non vets interested, just post here that you are wanting to be put on waiting list. Vets have until Oct 5th to get deposits in and all deposit info and Curtis's address is posted under 2008 Sweat Forum. Oct 8th we will start a 2009 SWEAT forum.

Why do these things fall on my work days??? You would think that with two weeks off a month I would catch a hunt once in a while. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Guys,
Looks like there will be at least a half dozen spots open. Sweat Hunt vets get first choice on spots every year. They have until Oct 5th to get deposits in and then we will post open spots on this forum and it will be first come first served as per waiting list (this post) and money talks. Those that have posted here are the official waiting list, each person will be contacted and from there on your deposit claims your spot. If anyone has questions about this or hunt itself, please ask here or PM me.

Sorry JD, I didn't answer your question. On Oct 5th we can post list of paid up attendees.

Looks like I'm going to have to sit on the side lines for this years Sweat. Trying to get a place in Aiken up and running so I'll be twiddling my fingers waiting to hear all the great stories...Doc

Sorry to hear that Doc! You are certainly a highlite of each years TXS. I'll miss seeing you there.
I just got back from a few weeks fishing in the mountains out west and stopped by to check on you guys. Good to see there are many returning vets. I look forward to seeing you all again and meeting all you new guys face to face.
Mistic, I have a new security program and it throws out emails if they say "fw" in the title or they look like spam to the security program. Sorry that I missed your email. It would seem that I've been missing a few from other guys as well. Sorry bout that but I had two computers crash and I lost every picture I had. I just don't want to loose any more data so I'm staying with the security program. Thanks for checking in with me.
